Plagiarism Policy

META: Journal of Science and Technological Education upholds high standards of academic integrity and strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism. To ensure originality, all submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin and iThenticate.

Plagiarism checks are conducted at multiple stages of the editorial process, primarily at the time of initial submission and again after the manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and is accepted for copyediting. In certain cases, similarity checks may be conducted only at the pre-publication (copyediting) stage to ensure final compliance.

The journal applies a maximum similarity threshold of 20%, excluding references, bibliographies, and properly cited quotations. Manuscripts that exceed this threshold or contain evidence of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or unethical citation practices will be rejected or returned to the authors for clarification or revision, depending on the severity of the case.

META: Journal of Science and Technological Education is committed to ethical publishing practices and follows internationally recognized standards for publication ethics to maintain the integrity and credibility of the scholarly record.
